About the role:
The 1st Line IT Support Engineer is the first point of contact for all technical issues providing quick support for hardware software and basic network problems via phone email and remote tools. Key duties include logging and triaging tickets handling password resets managing AD user accounts and resolving basic connectivity issues. The role also involves setting up workstations/printers and maintaining hardware inventory. Strong communication skills Microsoft 365 experience and basic networking knowledge are highly preferred.

Key responsibilities:
As the primary point of contact for technical enquiries the 1st Line IT Support Engineer provides responsive assistance for hardware software and network issues via phone email and remote support tools.
Key responsibilities include logging and triaging service desk tickets performing password resets managing user accounts in Active Directory and troubleshooting basic connectivity problems.
You will ensure all incidents are documented accurately and resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or escalated to 2nd line teams as necessary.
The role also involves configuring and deploying workstations printers while maintaining an up-to-date hardware inventory.
Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical users and a proactive attitude toward learning new systems.
Professional experience with Microsoft 365 and a solid understanding of basic networking protocols are highly desirable
