Job Description:
The Production Assembly Associate supports manufacturing operations by performing a range of assembly and production tasks on electronic and/or mechanical components. This is an entry-level role with clearly defined responsibilities standard procedures and close supervision. No prior experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies (e.g. modules boards panels frames cables).
- Assemble small components using visual aids diagrams schematics process flow sheets and written or verbal instructions.
- Use hand tools power tools jigs saws and assembly fixtures as required.
- Set up initial layouts and follow established production methods and procedures.
- Conduct basic continuity checks and inspections on work in process and completed assemblies.
- Perform quality checks in accordance with defined specifications.
- Assist with disassembly modification rework reassembly and testing of assemblies or prototype units as needed.
- Operate automatic or semi-automatic production equipment after training.
- Report equipment malfunctions defects or process abnormalities to supervisors.
- Support general production activities which may include packaging inventory handling shipping or receiving tasks.
- Follow all safety quality and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)
- Ability to speak read write and understand English to follow procedures SOPs and work instructions.
- Ability to use microscopes and assemble small precision parts.
- Ability to work while standing or sitting for the entire shift.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
Experience & Education
- Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
- Basic knowledge of production or manufacturing processes is a plus but not mandatory.
