Job Summary

Job Title: IT Project Manager (Data Platforms Agile PMP Healthcare 8 yrs exp)

Location: Austin TX (Onsite - Local candidates only)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

Proven experience in IT project management within the information technology industry
Hands-on involvement with data management solutions such as data warehouses data lakes data analytics/business intelligence platforms web-based (J2EE) development or SOA-related technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong experience creating clear concise and comprehensive project documentation
Demonstrated ability to manage teams through meetings task assignments mentoring facilitation and training
Experience monitoring project progress and applying effective risk management practices
Ability to keep leadership informed of project status risks and issues
Strong analytical and expert problem-resolution skills
Full lifecycle experience with Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience tracking full project budgets and recording actual costs in project tracking tools
Proven ability to lead Agile project sprints including:
- Increment planning
- Backlog grooming
- Sprint planning
- Daily scrums
- Sprint retrospectives
- Kanban practices
Active PMP Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the healthcare industry particularly public health
Experience managing multi-agency or multi-IT department initiatives
Prior work within a Health and Human Services agency
Experience coordinating and managing weekly activities with State of Texas TSS Sprint Teams
Ability to manage resources in a mixed functional and matrixed project environment
Proven skill in developing documenting and executing:
- Project management plans
- Work plans
- Quality plans
Experience managing projects through the full lifecycle from analysis and planning to development and deployment
Demonstrated success in building and managing IT project teams with a strong ability to motivate and drive high performance
Experience with access and eligibility programs

Key Responsibilities

Plan lead and deliver complex IT projects using Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Manage cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project objectives scope and timelines
Develop and maintain project documentation schedules budgets and risk logs
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily standups reviews and retrospectives
Monitor project health manage risks and proactively resolve issues
Communicate project progress risks and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to SDLC governance standards and quality expectations
Coordinate effectively with multiple agencies vendors and internal IT teams
