Regional Sales Manager Opportunity - Tension Des Moines We have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join our Des Moines team. This role leads a team of sales account executives across the Midwest and is key in developing strategic sales plans for territory growth driving print marketing initiatives and expanding traditional envelope sales. Based in the local Des Moines area this role reports to the VP General Manager. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Motivates coaches and develops a high-performing sales team. Sets sales targets monitor and address team performance results. Strategic Thinking: Creates and executes sales strategies aligned with business objectives. Analyzes market trends customer needs and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Communication: Communicates with stakeholders at all levels using clear informative and persuasive communication skills. CRM Management & Analytics: Utilizes customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales analytics to optimize performance and make informed decisions. Interprets data to drive decisions and optimize team performance. Customer Focus: Builds long-term customer partnerships using strong understanding of customer relationships and buyer psychology. Adaptability & Problem Solving: Will pivot as needed in dynamic markets or changing conditions handling objections and team challenges effectively. Goal-Oriented & Accountability: Focuses on results and continuous improvement and owns responsibility of team performance and achieving business objectives. Qualifications Sales Leadership & Team Management: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets along with a strong understanding of sales cycles pipelines and account management. Strong delegation decision-making and performance management skills. Communication Expertise: Clear and persuasive verbal and written communications skills along with active listening and negotiation skills. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of printing processes design principles and envelope manufacturing preferred. Proficient in CRM tools and sales analytics. Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of various envelope and printed products including different paper stocks sizes finishing options and printing technologies preferred. CRM tools & Analytical: Ability to interpret data to drive decisions and optimize team performance. Goal-Oriented & Accountable: Results driven focused on continuous improvement and takes responsibility for team performance and achieving business objectives. Customer Relationship Management: Expertise in developing trusted long-term customer relationships leveraging insight into customer needs motivation and buyer behavior. Adaptability & Problem Solving: Proven experience adapting strategies in changing market conditions and managing team challenges to maintain performance momentum. Education: Bachelors degree or its equivalent in business marketing or a related field preferred. Experience: Eight or more years of proven sales leadership experience preferably within the print packaging or envelope industry.
