Technical & Behavioral Competencies
. Strong Experience in Automation testing
. Proficiency in Java /Python /JavaScript
. Hands on experience with:
- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- API Automation using REST Assured / Postman / Karate
. Experience in BDD Framework (Cucumber & Gherkins based automation framework)
. Strong understanding of TestNG / Junit / PyTest
. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub actions Azure DevOps)
. Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
. Hands-on experience in SQL & Database testing.
. Knowledge of test management tools is required JIRA ALM.
. Strong Stakeholder management and reporting Skills.
. Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
. Strong experience in Agile/Scrum.
. Strong Experience in End-to-End Testing lifecycle (SDLE & STLC)
. Hands on Experience with Functional Regression Integration System Smoke and Sanity.
. Ability to review requirements and identify gaps or ambiguities.
. Experience working in FinTech / Banking / E-commerce domains is an advantage.
. 5 years of strong hands-on experience in Selenium/API Automation Scripting of test cases and Automation Execution
. 3 years of strong experience in Test Design & Test Execution (Functional & Regression testing) of Banking applications
. Strong Experience in Test Planning & Estimation

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Must to have:

Automation - Testing experience 9 years
. Strong Experience working with any of the automation frameworks in TestNG BDD Cucumber Playwright Cypress
. Design develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI API and Integration testing.
. Define and implement automation strategy standards and best practices.
. Develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
. Review of automation code and ensure quality standards.
. Mentor and guide junior automation engineers
. Estimate automation efforts and provide status reports to stakeholders.
. Drive continuous improvement in test coverage and execution efficiency.
. Good knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
. Having Hand on Experience on tools like Maven Jenkins Git and REST API testing.
. Good knowledge of Java used for automation
. Having knowledge on any of KYC AML Peoplesoft or CRM domain
. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
. Understanding testing principles and practices
. Ability to plan design and execute test cases
. Proactive ownership driven approach.
. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
. Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
. Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience
. Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
. Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
. Must have good analytical skills.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
. Must be flexible independent.
. Perform other testing-related duties as required

. Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
. Work in close co-ordination with functional test team to analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
. Ability to work independently and take ownership
. Experience leading automation initiatives or small teams
. The candidate should be self-motivated proactive and a good team player.

. Training and knowledge sharing
- Performance Testing Exposure (JMeter / Gatling / Load Runner)
- Security Testing Basics
- Experience with Playwright / Cypress / Tosca / Python

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Good to have:
. Overall experience in QA role 9 yrs
. Around 5 years of experience in Automation testing
. Around 3 years of experience in Functional testing.
. Experience in test automation framework design (Hybrid/Data-driven)
. Working Knowledge of at least one Database (Oracle/MS SQL)
. Banking domain knowledge mandatory
