Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credentialing Specialist to support all aspects of provider credentialing and clinical privileging. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory accreditation and organizational standards while maintaining accurate and complete credentialing records for medical staff and allied health professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong audit compliance and system management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and process initial credentialing reappointments credential audits and clinical privileging activities
Manage credentialing workflows for Medical Staff Allied Health Professionals and other designated providers
Utilize credentialing software systems (e.g. MDStaff) to track monitor and maintain credentialing and background check processes
Ensure accuracy completeness and integrity of provider credentialing data and documentation
Interpret and apply hospital bylaws corporate policies and credentialing procedures
Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory legal and accrediting agency requirements
Develop and maintain working knowledge of credentialing-related statutes and laws
Support internal and external audits related to credentialing and privileging activities
Communicate effectively with providers leadership and internal departments to resolve credentialing issues
Required Skills & Experience
Prior experience in provider credentialing and clinical privileging
Strong audit compliance and regulatory interpretation skills
Proficiency with credentialing software systems (MDStaff preferred)
Excellent attention to detail organization and documentation accuracy
Strong communication and collaboration skills
