The Stanley Black & Decker Strategic Sourcing team is an agile sourcing organization focused on leveraging the companys scale to achieve the best possible price with the best possible quality service and delivery among all categories of addition the team maintains close alignment with the businesses to support overall strategies and drives to a best-in-class sourcing organization using Stanley Fulfillment System principles.

The Job:

As a Senior Director Commodities - Global youll be part of our Global Supply Chain team working as a hybrid employee. Youll get to:

• leads the global strategy execution and management of commodity sourcing for SBD.
• Drives cost optimization supplier performance risk mitigation and sustainability initiatives across key commodity categories.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business objectives and delivers value through innovative sourcing solutions.
• Develop and implement global commodity sourcing strategies to achieve cost quality and risk management objectives.
• Drive Commodity Excellence strategies through bespoke material contracts derivatives price locks & directed buy. ( Direct Materials & FX)
• Lead supplier negotiations and relationship management for critical commodities.
• Analyze market trends supply risks and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions.
• Partner with product development manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure sourcing strategies align with business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes including digitalization and sustainability initiatives.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for supplier performance cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with SBD and regulatory standards in sourcing activities.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing sourcing team.
• Manage annual budgets and deliver on cost reduction targets.
• Represent SBD in industry forums and maintain awareness of best practice and bring innovation into NPD.
