Job Summary

Role Overview


The Head of Global Talent Acquisition will define and lead Brunels global recruitment strategy ensuring we deliver innovative scalable and high-quality talent solutions that position Brunel as a trusted advisor to our clients.
This role will strengthen our capabilities in recruitment methodology delivery models tools (including AI) and solution design. Working across all regions the Head of Global Talent Acquisition will create alignment on KPIs processes and adoption of technology while building a strong global community of recruiters.
The role will also design adaptive delivery models to keep Brunel agileoffering the best-fit options for every client need from high-volume recruitment to highly specialised technical roles and C-suite appointments. As a senior leader the position will provide thought leadership contribute to global bids champion DEI and ensure Brunel is recognized for excellence in talent sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Talent Leadership

  • Define and deliver Brunels global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global recruitment community ensuring consistency collaboration and capability uplift across all regions.
  • Establish Brunel as a leader in innovative client-focused recruitment solutions.

Recruitment Excellence & Best Practices

  • Develop and embed global standards for recruitment KPIs processes and methodologies.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of recruitment technologies with a strong focus on AI.
  • Capture and scale best practices across regions to ensure consistent high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure a superior candidate experience from first contact through to onboarding.

Delivery Model Design

  • Design and evolve flexible delivery models that allow Brunel to respond effectively to diverse client requirements.
  • Ensure models maximise efficiency and client value across the spectrumfrom high-volume low-margin hiring to niche specialist recruitment and executive search.
  • Continuously adapt delivery frameworks to changing market conditions and client needs.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Lead Brunels employer branding initiatives globally to strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to articulate a compelling employee value proposition.
  • Champion the delivery of an outstanding candidate experience at every stage of the talent lifecycle.

Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

  • Champion inclusive recruitment practices across all global processes and tools.
  • Build and expand diverse talent pipelines by leveraging data networks and partnerships.
  • Embed DEI as a core element of all recruitment strategies and client-facing solutions.

Workforce Planning & Succession

  • Partner with HR and business leaders on strategic workforce planning to anticipate future hiring needs.
  • Support internal mobility and succession planning to strengthen Brunels future leadership pipeline.
  • Provide insights to the COO and Executive Team on talent availability and market dynamics.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Establish global recruitment analytics and dashboards (e.g. time-to-fill quality-of-hire DEI metrics).
  • Provide data-driven insights to executive stakeholders to guide decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor benchmark and optimise recruitment performance globally.

Client Solutions & Advisory

  • Partner with regional and client leaders to design bespoke talent acquisition solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor offering data-driven insights and workforce strategies.
  • Ensure recruitment solutions enhance client outcomes and position Brunel as a differentiated partner.

Global Bids & Growth Enablement

  • Play a central role in global and regional bids providing expertise in talent acquisition strategy.
  • Support business development teams in positioning Brunel as the supplier of choice for talent solutions.
  • Ensure recruitment strategies presented in bids are compelling scalable and aligned with client expectations.

Thought Leadership & Influence

  • Represent Brunel externally as a thought leader in global recruitment and workforce solutions.
  • Produce and share insights on emerging talent acquisition trends technology and best practices.
  • Influence senior stakeholders internally and externally to align on strategic priorities.

Success in this Role Will Look Like

  • A clear unified global recruitment strategy is implemented and consistently applied across regions.
  • A global playbook for recruitment excellence is established and actively used by teams.
  • Flexible delivery models enable Brunel to meet client needs across all segments (volume specialist and executive).
  • Employer branding and candidate experience initiatives strengthen Brunels market positioning.
  • DEI is embedded in recruitment processes and reflected in talent pipelines.
  • Workforce planning and succession processes anticipate and meet future talent needs.
  • Recruitment analytics provide meaningful insights enabling evidence-based decisions.
  • Global recruiters are aligned coached and supported resulting in stronger client outcomes and consistent delivery standards.
