Role Summary

As Vice President of Marketing Europe you will own and lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution across the European region. As a member of the European leadership team you will directly lead Product Marketing Customer Marketing and Demand Generation teams to accelerate pipeline bookings and market share for ECIs portfolio of industry-specific cloud solutions tailored to European SMBs.

In our matrixed global organization you will partner closely with global Product Marketing Global Demand Generation Marketing Operations Sales leadership Division Presidents and other stakeholders to align regional execution with global strategies while addressing local market dynamics regulations and buyer behaviors.

This high-impact role calls for a proven B2B SaaS GTM leader who excels at strategic vision operational excellence data-driven optimization and inspiring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end regional GTM strategy and execution for Europe developing tailored marketing plans per product line and target segment (manufacturing distribution construction field service) based on in-depth local market understanding regulations and buyer behaviors.

  • Partner with global Product Management global Product Marketing and Sales to define resonant positioning messaging and value propositions for European SMB customers.

  • Build and refine regional buyer personas and customer journeys to inform highly targeted campaigns content and experiences.

  • Lead European Product Marketing to deliver differentiated positioning and messaging; oversee creation of localized sales enablement tools including battlecards customer proof points case studies sales presentations ROI/value calculators regional web content and digital experiences.

  • Drive successful product launches and releases in Europe coordinating internal/external communications for maximum adoption and growth.

  • Lead the European Demand Generation team to design execute and optimize integrated ROI-driven programs across paid search paid/organic social events webinars account-based marketing and local partner marketing.

  • Architect and manage the regional marketing-to-sales funnel improving lead quality pipeline velocity conversion rates and CAC efficiency in close collaboration with European and divisional Sales leaders.

  • Allocate and manage the regional marketing budget across channels/programs to maximize ROI pipeline coverage and marketing-sourced contribution to bookings.

  • Establish a metrics-driven culture: own KPIs (pipeline generated bookings influenced channel performance CAC conversion rates campaign ROI); provide regular performance analysis dashboards and test-and-learn optimizations.

  • Partner with Marketing Operations on effective European lead management (scoring routing SLAs sales follow-up) and collaborate with global Demand Generation on digital initiatives.

  • Implement robust customer listening (interviews advisory councils surveys NPS) and competitive/win-loss analysis; feed European insights into global product roadmaps and marketing.

  • Develop region-specific thought leadership and scale customer advocacy programs (testimonials case studies user groups reference programs) to build brand authority.

  • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing European marketing team while influencing cross-functionally in a matrix environment and championing ECIs inclusive collaborative culture.

What Were Looking For

Firm Requirement: Business-level competency in Dutch (Nederlands) is mandatory for effective leadership stakeholder engagement and market execution in this Netherlands-based role.

  • 10 years of progressive B2B SaaS/technology marketing leadership with proven success in GTM execution product marketing and demand generation.

  • A driven and empathetic leader with Western European marketing expertise.

  • Track record scaling teams across disciplines driving measurable pipeline/bookings growth and thriving in global/matrixed organizations.

  • Deep expertise in B2B marketing funnels lead lifecycle revenue marketing digital channels integrated campaigns and analytics.

  • Marketing experience for SaaS solutions is required; marketing experience for ERP or complex multi-module softwares is beneficial.

  • Industry knowledge in manufacturing distribution construction or field service is highly desirable.

  • Customer-centric data-driven agile leader who balances strategy with hands-on execution; strong influencer across cultures time zones and functions.

  • Exceptional presentation skills for executive customer and partner audiences.

  • BS/BA in Marketing Business or equivalent; MBA a plus.

  • Legally authorized to work in the Netherlands; able to travel within Europe and to the United States 3-4 x per year.
