Job Title: Database Administrator (Oracle DBA)
Experience: Min. 5 - 9 Years
Location: Bangalore (WFO)
Notice Period: immediate/serving notice period(not more than 10 days)
Note- no relocation candidates.

Key Skills: Oracle DB and MySQL SQL Server administration understanding.

Must Have :

1. Demonstrable experience of delivering Database operation teams/projects with specific knowledge of service transition and supportability of solution in a Production environment of Oracle DB and MySQL SQL Server administration understanding
2. Demonstrable experience managing technical teams
3. Understanding of Operational Acceptance Disaster Recovery and High Availability (HA) in a Production environment.
4. Understanding of Change Management Incident Management and Release and Configuration management processes.
5. Infrastructure services delivery using offshore/onshore capabilities; an understanding of the complexities of working with teams.
6. Ensures availability security and integrity of assigned databases.
7. Resolves database performance capacity replication and other distributed data issues.
8. Install patch and maintain all Oracle software. Installs and configures database management software (DBMS) including RAC and Data Guard and applicable service packs and/or patches.
9. Develops and implements database maintenance plans including performing integrity checks updating statistics and monitoring security and hardware resource utilization.
10. Advanced knowledge of Oracle RAC
11. Participates in data modeling and database logical and physical design.
12. Analyzes long-term database performance trends to optimize database and application performance.
13. Configures database server to work with middleware web servers and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools.
14. Design and implement a backup & recovery system and have extensive hands-on experience on various RMAN Backup and Recovery Scenarios.
15. Expert in provisioning and decommission of database including Instance/RAC/ASM/grid control/data guard
16. Gathers and shares business requirements for their towers with the teams and ensures effective and efficient solutions are developed and implemented
17. Problem solving and Decision Making - Resolve unusual or highly complex problems with the involvement of others as required. Able to identify solutions and explore alternatives outside familiar approaches

Infrastructure knowledge on Data Center towers
Good communication skills set understand and clear communication to the business on impact of major incidents
Excellent problem analysis skill set and design knowledge
