A growing UK insurance broker is seeking experienced Commercial Account Handlers and Commercial Account Executives to join their dynamic commercial team. This is a client-facing role managing a portfolio of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and commercial clients across a range of insurance products including commercial combined property motor and specialty lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients including renewals endorsements and new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with brokers clients and insurers
- Prepare and present risk assessments and quotations to clients
- Support business development and cross-selling initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
- Mentor junior team members (for senior roles) and contribute to team best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial insurance broking or account handling
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Excellent communication negotiation and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality service
- Professional qualifications (Cert CII) desirable but not essential
