Primary Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (includes a 60-minute break)
Alternate Shift: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (PRN as needed)

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support an Adult Dental / Oral Surgery department in a hospital-based clinical setting. This short-term assignment covers a leave of absence and requires strong chairside assisting skills experience with EPIC EMR and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists and oral surgeons during dental and oral surgery procedures
Provide chairside support including instrument preparation and patient positioning
Maintain a clean sterile and well-organized treatment area
Prepare patients for procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
Accurately document patient information in EPIC EMR
Adhere to infection control safety and clinical protocols
Support daily clinic operations and patient flow

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of chairside Dental Assistant experience
Experience using EPIC EMR
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program
Experience in oral surgery or hospital-based dental settings
