Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Partnerships Manager to join an early-stage startup with significant momentum and grow our their important external relationships- from the first technical conversation to successful field deployment and long-term partnership growth. This role sits at the intersection of partner product and engineering driving technical scoping delivery and partner outcomes.
What Youll Do
Partner Scoping & Conversion
- Identify and prioritise partnership opportunities based on ROI strategic fit and likelihood of success.
- Lead technical and operational scoping discussions with prospective partners.
- Translate partner needs into clear technical and delivery requirements.
- Drive opportunities through to signed partnerships with defined success criteria.
Partnership & Delivery Ownership
- Manage partner and customer relationships post-signature accountable for delivery outcomes and satisfaction.
- Set clear success metrics milestones and communication cadence.
- Coordinate internally with engineering product and operations to meet commitments.
- Lead deployment planning field trials and ensure successful execution.
Field Performance & Process
- Track real-world device performance surface issues and drive resolution.
- Capture lessons from deployments to improve product engineering and operational processes.
- Build repeatable processes playbooks and communication frameworks to scale partnerships efficiently.
What Were Looking For
- Experience managing technical partner or customer relationships in hardware deep tech or engineering environments.
- Strong technical literacy and credibility with engineers.
- Proven ability to deliver across multiple stakeholders and complex projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong judgement on trade-offs and prioritisation.
- Background in systems engineering field deployments or product operations.
- Experience with hardware validation field trials or prototype-to-product transitions.
- Experience creating processes or playbooks in growing teams.
