DescriptionThe Case Aide provides support to the Case Planner and Supervisors with case management and administrative tasks. The Family Case Aide will smooth the level of paperwork advocacy and communication to and from clients and team members to increase the programs productivity.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position:
- Gathering client resources (e.g. mental health services vocational/alternative school settings housing information recreational activities etc.
- Assist with reception coverage as needed such as answering the telephone screen and direct calls.
- Escort individuals and families to appointments when needed and maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes for each contact.
- Ensure client confidentiality and audit compliance.
- Escort individuals and families to appointments when needed.
- Request school and medical records from the service provider.
- Self-motivational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Establish and maintain respectful professional boundaries with individuals and families.
- The ability to assist in the engagement of families through casework.
- Knowledge understanding and respect for diverse cultural norms and traditions with clients and co-workers.
Qualifications- HS Diploma or equivalent required ; Associates Degree preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Strong advocacy communication and organizational skills.
- Two Years of Child Welfare experience or related Human Services are preferred but we are willing to train.
