The Role
We are looking for an Email Analyst to join the What If Messaging Team to help oversee and optimize our email monetization efforts. The email team oversees all real-time revenue driven from users via email outreach. Through analyses testing and strong understanding of the business needs the team strives to improve overall company performance and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will not only have a strong analytical aptitude to track the performance of marketing campaigns but also a keen creative mind and a detail-oriented highly motivated work ethic. The responsibility of the Email Analyst will be to understand and connect with data in order to monitor and optimize What Ifs sending of email. Through deep analysis of recent and historical data and continuous testing the Email Analyst will work towards crafting the most optimal sending strategies. They will also work closely with multiple departments including Sales Data Science R&D and Engineering to support them in executing various projects.
This is a hybrid position and will require 2-3 days per week in our Chicago Loop office.
Responsibilities
Forecast and model the path that different projects should take for optimal profitability.
Pinpoint information that can lead to increased profit opportunities for the company.
Monitor and optimize company performance through analyses testing and process optimization.
Create new reports to improve efficiency run numerous analyses provide detailed write-ups etc.
Work with the Data Science team to create models that identify the optimal advertisements to send to each individual user.
Develop relevant and targeted feedback for our Sales team.
Education & Experience
Associates or Bachelors degree in math or a quantitative field.
At least 2 years of proven experience in analytics with a strong understanding of math statistics and data analysis.
High proficiency with SQL language and database management.
Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications specifically Excel.
Knowledge of relational database concepts.
Ability to analyze large datasets using statistical techniques.
Adept at queries interpreting data and presenting findings.
Extensive experience with data visualization.
Strong constant attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.
