Job Summary
We are seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Technician to support daytoday microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities within a regulated laboratory setting. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow foundational microbiology experience in a cGMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine microbiological testing including endotoxin and bioburden assays
- Execute environmental monitoring (EM) sampling in cleanrooms and controlled spaces
- Conduct water sampling activities; may include sampling within animal facility areas
- Perform clean steam and compressed gas sampling
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all laboratory operations
- Support general laboratory activities including cleaning stocking inventory and cold-room 5S upkeep
- Accurately document all work in compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards
- Follow established protocols and SOPs while assisting in troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a science-related field or 02 years of directly related laboratory experience
- Experience with standard microbiological methods and aseptic technique
- Prior work in a laboratory setting required; cGMP knowledge preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data analysis tools
- Ability to learn new techniques and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and recordkeeping abilities
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive adaptable attitude
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Details:
The position is full-time Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Andover MA are encouraged to apply.
