The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the GIS(FME) team you will be part of the development design and delivery of Geographic Information System services to support utility industry clients. As a Manager you supervise and mentor junior team members manage diverse perspectives and foster consensus to achieve favorable results. You integrate strategic thinking technical proficiency and successful collaboration to drive GIS initiatives across various client functions including GIS applications data conversions and system integrations.
Responsibilities
- Converting spatialdata using Safe Softwares FME Flow and FME Form
- In-depth knowledge of FME workbenches for Data transformation
- Ability to create Data Extracts through FME workbenches- for source and destination systems during interface development.
- Identifysuitable transformers for complex data transformation tasks- attributemerger changedetectionetc.
- Performance optimization forlarge spatial datasets
- Experience withFME automation (Schedules Automations RESTAPIs)
- Deploying FME workbenches in the Server environment
- TroubleshootingSQL queries inPostGIS OracleSQLdatabases
- PerformingPostgres spatial functions usingpgAdmin MySQL or otherSQLdatabases
- Experience working with datasets in JSON file format
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
What You Must Have
- Minimum of5yearsworkingexperience withFME Form and Flow.
- Extensive development experience in FME workbenches for GIS Interfaces and data transformation scenarios.
- Ability to build custom workbenches integrate with Esri Geoprocessing tools.
- Knowledge ofArcPyand Esri Model Builder
- Understanding ofEsriArcGIS Software (Enterprise Desktop Server ArcGIS ProOnline)
- Understanding of Utilities Domain and Esri Utility Network
- Understanding ofGeodatabases: Versioning and Spatial data TypesandPostGISspatial functions.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations
- Exemplary problem solverskills and excellent written and verbal communication
What Sets You Apart
Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage along with domain knowledge specific to Electric or Gas
Knowledge of Esri Utility Network- Core Principles: SubNetwork Associations Containment Tracing etc.
In Depth knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and Geoprocessing functions.
Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
Advanced Excel capabilities
