Job Summary

Are you a driven strategic sales professional who thrives on building relationships and growing revenue FOX21-KXRM and SOCO CW-KXTU are seeking a Sales Account Executive to manage and grow an established client book while developing new business opportunities. This role is perfect for someone passionate about business development digital advertising and creating innovative marketing solutions.

The Sales Account Executive plays a critical role in driving station revenue by managing existing Local Direct and agency accounts expanding relationships and identifying new business opportunities. With comprehensive training supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment this role offers the platform to advance your career while making a real impact on the community.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Business Development (Existing Accounts): Grow revenue and strengthen relationships within your assigned book identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across television and digital campaigns.
  • New Business Development: Proactively pursue new clients in the local market
  • Digital Sales: Sell multi-platform advertising solutions including digital display streaming social media video and integrated campaigns. Educate clients on the value of combining digital and traditional TV to maximize ROI.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with local businesses and agencies positioning yourself as a strategic marketing advisor.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver customized compelling presentations that demonstrate the value of FOX21-KXRM and SOCO CW-KXTU solutions.
  • Automotive Media Expertise: Leverage experience with dealership advertising and automotive market knowledge to grow automotive client business.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and clients to develop campaigns that are both creative and results-driven.
  • Account Management: Monitor campaign performance optimize strategies and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support station initiatives and projects as needed to drive overall team success.

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum of one year of Broadcast or Digital media sales experience ideally with both Local Direct and agency accounts.
  • Proven success in business development and managing existing client relationships.
  • Experience in automotive media and understanding dealership advertising cycles is highly preferred.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell digital advertising and integrate multi-platform campaigns.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Comscore Nielsen Wide Orbit Traffic and Wide Orbit Media Sales a plus.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Conduct client meetings via phone email and in-person interactions.
  • Write engaging correspondence and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Navigate various work environments including indoor office settings and outdoor conditions.

Compensation:

On-Target Earnings: $60000$80000 annually at plan based on performance and experience.

Commission Structure: This role offers a competitive commission plan designed to reward revenue growth client retention and new business development.

Earning Potential: High performers have the opportunity to exceed on-target earnings through strong sales results and expanded client relationships.
