What Youll Do

As a Die Repair youll be part of our Metals Plant team located in Chesterfield MI. Youll get to:

• Completes lay outs and machine spare details assembles and repairs tools.
• According to tool design develops details capable of producing parts to specifications utilizing various measuring instruments to determine proper tool construction for progressive Fourslide and Bihler.
• Set up and operates tool room equipment such as mills lathes grinders and drills to machine parts to specifications.
• Cleans equipment and maintains housekeeping in immediate area.
• Perform quality checks with micrometers calipers and other measuring equipment.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Evaluate die strips and trouble shoot problems.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience with Die Repair

• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Obtain a Hilo license within the probationary period.
• Practical application of fractions percentages ratio and proportion mensuration logarithms practical algebra geometric construction and essentials of trigonometry.

• Ability to read and write to follow quality and related instructions.
