Position Summary:
Join our innovative team as a Machine Operator and play a crucial role in the smooth running of our manufacturing machinery to produce parts for our high security locks and keys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machines for parts and assemblies.
- Operate automated assembly equipment and secondary machining equipment as needed.
- Work with the Team Lead and Area Manager to produce product based on the work order and production schedules.
- Meet quality standards on time delivery and continually improve productivity to exceed customer expectations.
- Participate in team meeting to improve teams performance solve problems improve safety and 5S
- Must be able to meet or exceed performance measures after training
- Perform any additional duties required to assure smooth operation of product centers and support areas.
- Overtime will be required.
Were looking for a team player with:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math and computer skills including proficiency with tablets.
- Skilled in using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cutting tools with expertise in swapping saw blades turning inserts and other equipment components.
- Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
1. Normal corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters numbers and symbols.
2. Frequently required to sit stand walk talk hear bend and reach.
3. Ability to reach with hands and arms.
4. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
