The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality low cost innovative community-based ambulatory care. We are located at Two Corporation Way Peabody MA. As an Internal Medicine office we provide physical examinations routine health screenings and preventative care for adults. We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The weekly schedule will consist of 36 hours of clinical patient-facing time and 4 hours of remote administrative time. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no nights or weekends associated with this role and only minimal on-call responsibilities.

The NP/PA will have a panel (aiming for a larger panel size of 1400 over 3 years). Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations including those with medical and/or surgical conditions as well as providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions developing appropriate plans of care and conducting ongoing evaluations. May also perform additional duties such as precepting a small group of learners.

Essential Functions
-Provides direct care counseling and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory inpatient operative and/or procedural settings.
-Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
-Orders interprets and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
-Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic laboratory and physical examination findings.
-Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
-Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation including admission and progress notes procedure notes operative notes and discharge summaries.
-Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population.
