Job Title: Data Center / Energy Engineer

Job Location: Bucharest Romania

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the installation testing and commissioning of data center power and energy systems

• Perform on-site maintenance of electrical equipment such as UPS PDUs switchboards batteries and monitoring systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and power-related faults

• Conduct inspections and health checks to ensure safe and reliable operation

• Assist with system upgrades replacements and expansions

• Follow preventive maintenance plans and service schedules

• Work closely with senior engineers during deployments and technical interventions

• Read electrical drawings and follow technical documentation during installations

• Record service activities and prepare basic technical reports after each visit

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures

• Provide basic technical support to customers during and after service activities

• Travel to customer sites as required

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Energy Engineering Electronics Telecommunications or a related field

• Basic understanding of electrical power systems and energy equipment (UPS batteries switchboards power distribution site energy)

• Familiarity with data center or telecom site infrastructure is a plus

• Able to read electrical drawings and technical documentation

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools

• Good communication skills and able to work effectively with customers and internal teams

• Able to analyze problems and follow instructions to complete technical tasks

• English at working level (spoken and written)

• Hands-on mindset and willing to work on-site and travel when needed

• Open to learning proactive and comfortable working in a field/service environment

• Participation in technical projects internships competitions or student organizations is a plus
