Job Summary

Were building the Presentations feature inside Adobe Express - a product used by millions of people to tell stories pitch ideas and create content that moves people.

Were looking for a senior engineer in Bucharest who cares as much about the why behind the work as the how. This isnt a pick up tickets and ship role.

Youd be shaping how AI and creativity come together in a product people genuinely love - from generative slide layouts and AI-powered copywriting to a real-time collaborative editing engine built on TypeScript and C/WASM.

What youd work on:

Owning backend systems and APIs that power Presentations at scale - performance reliability and iteration speed matter here
Building and improving AI/ML-powered features: generative presentations
Collaborating with Product and Design to spot the right problems to solve - not just implement specs but bring your own perspective on what users need
Driving technical decisions mentoring peers and keeping a large fast-moving codebase healthy

What were looking for:

8 years of engineering experience
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript - youre at home in a monorepo with Lit web components MobX Webpack/Rspack and Rush/Bazel
Hands-on AI/ML experience - LLMs or similar in production
Full-stack comfort across services Redis
Product mindset - you ask does this actually help the user before shipping

Bonus:

Youve designed and shipped production-grade LLM systems including agent architectures and tool orchestration
Experience building AI features that required reasoning chains memory handling or multi-agent coordination
Youve led technical design across multi-engineer features
