Were looking for an Mechanical/Diesel Technician focusing on the Operation and Maintenance of Aggrekos Modular fleets such as Diesel Generators Gas Generators Load Banks Chillers AC and cooling Towers. To optimize performance of fleets with preventive and condition-based maintenance.

What youll do:
Maintain and repair Aggreko generators & associated engine shooting & detailed fault analysis.
Support and maintain AM Planning in line with TPM
Ensure maximum plant availability and best possible equipment condition.
Possess minimum Competent Person and LOTO certification.
Ensure that the Permit to Work system is fully implemented as per ESR
Leader on companys QHSE/ESR policies and procedures on sites.
Assist in the development of new employees including the provision of site induction.
Provide a focal point for coordinating initial response to site mechanical failures.
Liaison with the Supervisor/Manager for effective and efficient operation of equipment
Maximise cost efficiencies and ensure availability of mechanical consumables on site with optimum inventory level.
Report and document component failures.
Ensure that the Permit to Work system is implemented and adhered to.
Maintain calibration register/records for site tools.
Produces spill reports and details of remedial work.
Manages site visitors and sub-contractors.
Promotes feedback through the Continuous Improvement Program
Maintains good working relationship with client personnel.
Maintains site maintenance programme for all Aggreko equipment in accordance with TPM and AM Planning.
Supervises AIP site Mechanical personnel expatriate and local Service Electricians
Assists in the development/training of new and local employees including site specific induction in accordance with Operations Development Programme (ODP) in conjunction with OM/AOM and JA.
Youll have the following skills and experience:
Time served/Graduate Mechanical Engineer.
Able to travel to any AIPP site.
Served as a site mechanic or electrician.
Strong development and coaching skills.
Act as a HSE role model and promote prevention amongst others.
Oral and Written communication.
Able to motivate and lead site personnel
