Job Summary

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on E&M system design (traction power signaling telecommunications platform screen doors) from conceptual to detailed design stages.
Design & Tender Review: Review contractor submissions tender documents technical specifications and design drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Project Management & Coordination: Oversee the coordination between multi-disciplinary teams construction contractors and subcontractors to avoid delays.
Site Supervision & Safety: Monitor on-site construction activities ensuring installations meet quality standards safety protocols and technical specifications.
Commissioning Support: Lead or support the testing and commissioning of E&M plant and equipment ensuring close-out of deficiencies.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients consultants and government authorities to provide progress reports and resolve technical disputes

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the design and construction supervision of railway projects (MRT LRT Metro or High-Speed Rail).
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of railway systems safety standards and international regulations.
Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with FIDIC contracts (specifically Yellow Book) is often preferred.
Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD MS Project and other project management tools.
