Job Summary:
We are seeking a mid-level VMware Project Manager to oversee virtualization projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience leading VMware infrastructure projects coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Plan coordinate and track VMware virtualization projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans including charters scope work breakdown structures estimates resource plans budgets schedules and risk management.
- Work with resource managers technical staff and business stakeholders to orchestrate project delivery.
- Define and manage overall project risks taking corrective action to mitigate risks and prevent issues.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding project status schedule budget and risks to stakeholders.
- Follow project management methodologies and ensure adherence to defined processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of project processes and templates.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of technical project management experience preferably with VMware projects.
- Experience leading virtualization or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining project plans budgets and schedules.
- PMP or Agile/SCRUM certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
