We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to support a rural acute-care setting. This role requires the ability to independently manage the full spectrum of obstetrical care including antepartum intrapartum postpartum and newborn nursery care. The unit averages approximately 20 30 deliveries per month offering a balanced yet hands-on OB environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive nursing care for antepartum labor delivery postpartum and nursery patients

Monitor maternal and fetal status including interpretation of fetal monitoring strips

Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries; OB circulator experience preferred

Educate patients and families on labor delivery postpartum recovery and newborn care

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience

Ability to care across L&D Postpartum Nursery and Antepartum settings

Strong assessment critical thinking and patient education skills

Comfortable working independently in a rural healthcare environment

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
