Job Summary

Project Overview

The Markets Automation and QA contractor will support Client teams by identifying manual processes designing automation solutions and building tools that improve efficiency and reliability. This role focuses on application development automation and ongoing technical support while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design build and automate processes to support Market Operations activities
Enhance and adapt existing market tools to meet evolving business requirements and FERC regulations
Maintain and update technical and process documentation
Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for automation tools and applications
Collaborate with ITS teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions
Research and evaluate new technologies to support market automation initiatives
Understand hardware and software needs across Market Design and Market Operations as new process improvements and market changes are implemented

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science MIS Software Engineering or a related field
2 3 years of relevant professional experience
Strong learning agility and attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support production systems

.NET and C# development
PL/SQL

Object-oriented design concepts
