Associate Attorney
About the Role:
This is a full-time on-site Associate Attorney position based in Simi Valley California. The role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of legal matters with a primary focus on labor and employment law along with construction and/or engineering-related matters. You will play an integral role in advising clients managing cases from start to finish and contributing directly to legal strategy and outcomes. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys client interaction takes ownership of cases and wants to grow within a collaborative legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clear practical legal advice to clients on labor and employment matters
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategy
- Draft and review pleadings contracts motions and other legal documents
- Represent clients in negotiations and related proceedings
- Manage multiple client matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure transparency and satisfaction
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective and efficient legal solutions
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in construction and/or engineering law
- Strong ability to provide legal advice and conduct thorough legal research
- Excellent negotiation advocacy and client-facing skills
- Strong analytical organizational and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active membership in the California State Bar
- Prior experience in a law firm or related legal environment is preferred
