Asset Securitization Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded Asset Securitization Practice Group based in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated high-value financial transactions alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

As part of a finance-focused practice you will gain hands-on exposure to complex structured finance matters working closely with clients across a variety of industries. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to build deep expertise in transactional law while contributing meaningfully from day one.

Responsibilities:

Represent borrowers and lenders in commercial loan lease and structured finance transactions
Support transactions involving energy and other project finance matters
Assist on fintech and startup financing transactions
Work on lender-side workout and restructuring matters
Conduct due diligence reviews including material agreements organizational documents and lien searches
Prepare corporate housekeeping documents financing statements and other closing-related materials
Draft key transaction documents such as loan agreements lease agreements indentures note purchase agreements and offering documents

What Were Looking For:

1 3 years of experience at a law firm bank or financial institution
Strong foundation in finance or transactional law
Excellent drafting analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset
Demonstrated academic achievement
Active membership in good standing with the California Bar or eligibility to waive in
