Litigation Associate Attorney

About the Role:

We are seeking Litigation Associates to join a well-established and growing civil litigation team based in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career attorneys to gain hands-on experience across the full litigation lifecycle from initial case assessment through trial.

You will work closely with experienced litigators receive direct client exposure and take ownership of meaningful responsibilities early in your career. The role offers a structured path for professional growth along with flexibility through hybrid work options after initial onboarding and team integration.

Responsibilities:

Assess new case files and develop strategic action plans budgets and recommendations
Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks effectively to paralegals
Prepare and respond to discovery including managing document production
Attend depositions hearings and other litigation events and provide detailed reporting
Negotiate settlements obtain necessary authority and assist with trial preparation
Maintain consistent communication with paralegals legal assistants and clients

What Were Looking For:

1 5 years of civil litigation experience
Licensed to practice law in South Carolina or awaiting bar exam results
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Willingness to learn take initiative and grow within the firm
