Description
Background Information:
  • The purpose of this request is to acquire a Junior Business Analyst in supporting access to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) utilizing Ontario Healths pre-existing methodology for onboarding. Validation of Health Information Custodian (HIC) and legal status via the Client Information Form will provide the path forward for identification. and nbsp;This resource will be required to categorize and map eCHN end users to Ontario Healths pre-approved HIC types and validate the legally responsible person for pre-approval prior to migration to the Provincial Clinical Viewer.

Must haves:
  • Understand PHIPA principles: consent collection use disclosure and safeguards of PHI.
  • Know the roles of health information custodians and agents under PHIPA.
  • Understanding of the Health Care Sector and access to the EHR in Ontario.

Responsibilities:
  • Interacts with the stakeholders and subject matter experts to map onboarding pre-approvals through gathering documenting and analyzing health care sectors legal structure and EHR requirements.

General Skills :
  • Leads and conducts business analysis in order to assess clients business
  • problems/opportunities and documents the business requirements in such a way that
  • solutions can be determined.
  • Leads and conducts business analysis at varying levels of detail appropriate to the
  • project and phases of project aligning with OPS Unified Project Management
  • Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; conceptual and logical data
  • modeling; process and data flow modeling; use case surveys; business rules
  • definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects
  • Monitors progress resolves problems and reports regularly to manager and
  • stakeholders
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Deliverables
Deliverables Include:
  • Categorize and map eCHN end users to Ontario Healths pre-approved HIC types and validate the legally responsible person for pre-approval prior to migration to the Provincial Clinical Viewer
  • Requirements gathering mapping analysis and reporting


Knowledge Transferred Details:
  • The resource will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement. Some of this might occur at the end of the engagement but will also be shared as information is obtained/consolidated. Key deliverables will be shared with team.
  • The resource must provide all related documentation as part of knowledge transfer protocol. Documents will be reviewed by the appropriate leads and signed off by manager/director.
  • The resource will work collaboratively with the Ontario Health team throughout the assignment and ensure key deliverables milestones and documentation are shared.
  • A walkthrough of any demos development etc. will be required before the end of the engagement.
