Job Summary

Senior Technology Risk & Control Analyst (RCSA)

Risk & Controls Analyst opportunity in the insurance industry with a global organization. Contribute to enterprise-wide governance by executing and enhancing risk control frameworks leading RCSA processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Hybrid work environment strategic projects and exposure to global stakeholders.

What is in it for you:

Salaried: $60-66 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $70-78 per hour.
6-month contract.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work model combining in-office and remote flexibility.

Responsibilities:

Support full-cycle execution of the RCSA program from planning to documentation.
Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to identify risks controls and related processes.
Conduct risk assessments analyze inherent and residual risks and assign risk ratings aligned to enterprise frameworks.
Maintain clear compliant and high-quality documentation for all risk assessments.
Prepare and deliver reporting materials including dashboards and escalation updates.
Collaborate with internal teams including Audit Compliance and Business Units to ensure alignment.
Analyze operational risk data such as control failures and near misses to deliver actionable insights.
Recommend and implement improvements to RCSA tools processes and templates.
Identify automation opportunities within risk processes and lead implementation.
Track performance metrics and contribute to the Community of Practice.
Maintain project plans status reports and governance documentation.
Support multiple projects and pilot initiatives with risk-related oversight.

What you will need to succeed:

University degree preferably in Commerce Computer Science Information Technology Business Accounting or a related field.
35 years of experience in Technology Risk Operational Risk Information Security Business Resiliency or Audit within a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of risk and control frameworks and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with GRC tools preferably Archer.
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with data analysis tools.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead sessions present to stakeholders and influence cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working across global time zones in a hybrid setup.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
Financial services or insurance industry background is considered an asset.
