Your Role

We are seeking an experienced and values driven Team Leader at Petes Place you will provide day to day leadership to a dedicated team delivering high quality consistent case management services across community based programs and supported accommodation. This role plays a critical part in improving client outcomes and reducing the risk of a return to homelessness.

Your Responsibility

  • Providing supervision guidance and leadership to case management staff

  • Delivering and overseeing client focused socially inclusive and non judgemental case management

  • Developing and reviewing goal oriented case plans in partnership with clients

  • Supporting staff to deliver multidisciplinary and integrated responses to client needs

  • Managing stakeholder relationships including government departments and partner agencies

  • Advocating for clients and supporting access to housing services and community connections

  • Contributing to continuous quality improvement accreditation and policy development

  • Monitoring data maintaining client records and preparing reports and statistics

  • Understanding budget parameters and identifying opportunities for service improvement

  • Participating actively in staff meetings and organisational initiatives

  • Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies legislation and WHS requirements

You Will Need

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work Social Science Community Welfare or a related field or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated experience in case management or outreach services within the homelessness sector

  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role with an understanding of accountability and data management

  • Strong negotiation advocacy and conflict resolution skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with a wide range of people

  • Knowledge of housing and community services systems child protection and relevant legislation

  • Sound understanding of WHS obligations

  • Confidence using client databases and industry related software

  • A current NSW driver licence

  • First aid Certificate or willigness to obtain
