Job Summary

Introduction

Are you a results-driven leader with a strong background in mining operations a leading mining services provider delivering reliable underground and surface mining solutions is looking for an experienced and qualified Site Manager Shift Loading & Hauling to oversee load out operations and ensure the efficient utilization of loading equipment. This role is vital in achieving daily production targets through effective planning coordination and leadership of shift resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

Legally appointed as per MHSA Section 2.6.1
Supervise day-to-day loading and hauling operations during your shift
Manage and liaise with contractors to ensure performance and compliance
Control shift-related budgets and costs
Provide clear people supervision and frontline leadership to operators
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency
Ensure strict adherence to SHERQ (Safety Health Environment Risk and Quality) standards

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
First Line Production/Technical Supervision Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4 )
Programme in First Line Management will be an advantage
Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience in opencast mining especially with earthmoving fleets
Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or team/project leadership role within a mining production environment
