Job Summary

Lead SHEQ Coordinator - Stublach Site

At ENGIE were committed to leading the energy transition and creating a more sustainable future. As our new SHEQ Coordinator at the Stublach Site youll play a crucial role in championing Quality Health Safety and Environmental standards directly contributing to our mission of responsible energy management.

Summary of what you will do

  • Monitor and administer SHEQ reporting systems ensuring high standards across Storengy UK
  • Facilitate SHEQ event investigations root cause analysis and improvement actions
  • Develop and issue SHEQ communications across the business
  • Support the UK SHEQ Manager with Internal Management System (IMS) application
  • Contribute to safety initiatives promoting One Safety and Safety Essentials programmes
  • Compile and monitor SHEQ statistics for group reporting
  • Oversee supplier and sub-contractor prequalification evaluations for SHEQ

What you will bring to the role

  • 3 years of experience in a lead SHEQ functional role (COMAH Site experience preferred)
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety (or working towards) or equivalent SHE qualification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK SHE legislation standards and practices
  • Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis methodologies
  • Strong ability to apply safety rules and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills for training development and delivery
  • Internal Auditor Qualification with experience in system-level audits
  • Knowledge of ISO Management standards ( 45001) and implementation experience
