Established in 1900 Beaulieu Vineyard is one of the most historic Napa Valley wineries setting the standard for quality and innovation in Napa Valley winemaking.

About the Role

Beaulieu Vineyard is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Hospitality Manager (AHM) to join us in the exciting grand opening of our newly-created hospitality this pivotal role you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead the hospitality team that will shape the future of our revitalized tasting room and tour offerings.

As a front-line leader youll drive sales coach a high-performing team and ensure every guest feels treasured. This is a full-time exempt role based in Rutherford CA offering the opportunity to shape one of Napas most historic wine destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Tasting Room ensuring exceptional guest service and sales performance
• Onboard and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance sales team performance and product knowledge.
• Inspire and motivate team members to achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic guidance and support.
• Innovate and expand tour and tastings to meet visitor engagement goals
• Lead onboarding and training programs to build a knowledgeable guest-focused team
• Manage staffing scheduling and performance reviews for up to 20 direct reports
• Develop and implement creative outreach strategies to attract new guest and build lasting relationships
• Serve as Manager on Duty handling banking POS operations and daily logistics
• Ensure compliance with safety beverage service and food handling standards
• Support special events and act as an ambassador for the BV brand

About You:

• You have 4 years of direct-to-consumer sales and/or customer service experience ideally in wine or hospitality
• Youve led and coached teams of 15 employees driving results and fostering a positive culture
• Youre confident in sales strategy wine club conversion and delivering luxury guest experiences
• Youre tech-savvy with tools like Shopify Bloom Gorgias TOCK and Microsoft Office
• Youre a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills and a calm professional demeanor
• Youre flexible available to work weekends holidays and occasional travel
• Youre passionate about wine knowledgeable about Napa Valley and eager to grow with the company
• Youre at least 21 years old and able to lift up to 40 pounds

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $69000 to $75000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors including but not limited to candidate qualifications skills experience education location and alignment with market data.
