Job Summary

Summary

This position is located at Fort Lee VA - Marketing.

Incentives and Bonuses

  • Relocation Expense Reimbursement up to $10000.
  • Management Incentive Plan NTE $10000 annually based on sales plan and growth.

Duties

  • Serves as a sales and account management executive. Prospects for new clients through a variety of sources and sales leads utilizing the Internet trade publications competitive sources and trade shows.
  • Develops proposals and evaluation criteria and negotiates sponsorship and advertising agreements. Coordinates closely with local level counterparts and officials of other agencies or components to execute agreements.
  • Obtains legal counseling as necessary. Acts as account manager for clients to ensure that benefits are executed and terms of agreement are met.
  • Attends related board committee and special event planning meetings. Provides expert advice and assistance that includes training.
  • Makes presentations writes and performs public relations duties.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Work experience that demonstrates proven ability and experience in sales negotiations account management and client care.
  • Must be able to communicate orally and in writing and have a working knowledge of the military and MWR community.
  • A bachelors degree in marketing public relations business or recreation is preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Highly Preferred or Best Qualified:
  1. Must have worked in sales for at least 2 years.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.
