DGDM Architect (Data Governance and Data Management Architect) Job Description:

(10 Experience)

Responsibilities:

Define and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
Develop data governance strategies that align with organizational goals.
Establish data stewardship programs and enforce data ownership.
Design and implement data quality monitoring and data lineage solutions.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data governance into projects.
Provide expertise on data governance best practices and compliance requirements.
Drive cultural change to promote data-driven decision-making.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in data management or a related field.
Proven experience as a DGDM Architect or similar role.
Proficiency in data catalog platforms (e.g. Collibra Informatica).
Deep knowledge of data governance principles frameworks and best practices.
Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance.
Change management expertise to drive organizational change.
Nice to have: Data governance certifications
