The typical hourly salary range for this position is $21.50 to $27.50. The hourly salary offered will be determined based on the candidates job-related knowledge skills education experience and internal equity considerations.
This posting is for an existing temporary full-time position.
SUMMARY:
This Intern position is responsible for supporting the Mail and Printing team during vacation and other absences and main tasks include sorting of all incoming and outbound mail from stores and all office locations; mail/parcel shipping using mailing and courier systems sorting vendor and VIP coupons; answering phone calls and emails.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and sort outbound/inbound mail to stores and field personnel
- Maintain mail bags for stores and field personnel daily and prepare for shipping via either Courier or Warehouse
- Sorting vendor and VIP coupons and entering the coupon amounts per store in the spread sheet
- Sending of outgoing packages and letters including registered letters same day delivery and special handling using courier shipping systems
- Track packages when necessary and assist in investigating all inquiries regarding missing late damaged or inaccurate shipments
- Sort and distribute product samples and deliver to appropriate personnel
- Assists with putting various binders/packages together
- Processing of the store supply forms as per the store request
- Gift card picking and packing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University/College courses in Business Administration an asset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Outlook Word and Excel
- Required to stand for extended period of time
- Able to move 20 kg boxes
