Corporate Legal Manager

Role & Responsibilities Corporate Legal

Provide corporate legal advisory to business teams and leadership on day-to-day legal regulatory and commercial matters.

Draft review negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements including:
o
Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs)
o
Service Agreements

o
Data Sharing & Data Processing Agreements
o
Channel Partner & Vendor Agreements
o
Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies

Support the business in ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance including monitoring changes in applicable laws and preparing internal compliance notes SOPs and checklists.

Advise on corporate governance matters; assist in policy drafting updates approvals and implementation in line with regulatory requirements.

Support the Board and internal committees by preparing legal inputs documentation and advisory notes for specific initiatives and projects.

Manage and coordinate with external law firms and legal consultants for corporate commercial and compliance-related matters; review and finalize drafts prepared by external counsel.

Handle pre-litigation matters including drafting and responding to legal notices resolving disputes through negotiation and advising on risk mitigation strategies.

Assist business teams in closing strategic deals and partnerships identifying legal risks and ensuring contractual protections for KredX.

Liaise with internal stakeholders to collect review and maintain legal documentation required for transactions audits and compliance purposes.

Oversee and support litigation from a corporate and compliance perspective including coordination with external counsel and internal teams where required.

Conduct internal training and awareness sessions for teams on legal compliance and governance-related topics.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws applicable to the organization particularly those impacting financial services fintech contracts data protection and corporate operations.
Qualifications & Skills

Law degree from a reputed university.

35 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal contracts or in-house legal roles.

Strong experience in contract drafting review and negotiation.

Good understanding of corporate compliance and governance frameworks.

Excellent legal research drafting and analytical skills.

Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Prior exposure to FinTech or financial services is an added advantage but not mandatory.
