Manager, Product Program Management

We are seeking a talented and motivated person to join as manager of product marketing team to drive the state-of-the-art new product development for India for India business division with focus on Renesass Power & Analog product portfolio.

A successful candidate will have strong desire and ability to work in a technically challenging and entrepreneurial environment. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work with a cross-functional team to bring a product to volume production starting from product conception to production release and support customers with any quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage product portfolio development and drive executional improvements
• Manage several key projects in parallel or singular large program
• Implement project management strategy to challenge status quo and drive higher efficiency of execution to scale up to the roadmap requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional and peers from other business groups to drive collaboration and harvest best practices and lessons learned to keep the business group in sync with One Renesas methodologies tools and systems
• Drive execution initiatives and process improvements at the functional cross functional and business group level
• Manage development of New Products (Industrial and Automotive) and delivering on all program commitments from inception through execution to tape out and start of production.
• Responsible for delivery of projects to schedule budget and quality. First time right mentality with execution.
• Drive cross-functional teams including design test product engineering validation marketing systems applications operations various factories and vendors as project lead to meet project milestones and objectives.
• Continuous focus on mitigating project risk by tracking progress contingency planning and acting on small signals with high urgency and timely escalation to prevent fire fighting; Monitor and report on project progress including key performance indicators and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocations to ensure on-time project completion within budget constraints
• Collaborate to define manufacturing and qualification plan and execute on qualification plan
• Responsible for product release into manufacturing with adherence to stringent customer requirements
• Collaborate with product engineering to do new product introduction and yield management
• Work with product and test engineering team for temperature/voltage/process characterization and production limit setting
• Owns sustained engineering efforts and support customer issues
• Real time customer support for product and quality related issues working with application / design team
• Product BOM release and maintenance
• Excursion management for both suppliers and customers
• KPI achievement in product related deliverables including NPI execution and velocity product cost (Gross margin improvements) product quality performance and failure analysis cycle times

Qualifications :

• Comfort and ability to collaborate and be effective in an entrepreneurial (fast-paced and ambiguous) environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills and comfort in presenting to a wide range of audiences. Capable to communicate issues in a concise and effective way.
• Desire and drive to interact with as well as ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Product ownership mentality
• Bachelor or Master (Preferred) of Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• Ability to build a strong team and motivate individuals to work out of their comfort zone
• Self-driven strongly motivated individual capable to take full ownership of their activities and to involve other functions in the company or management when needed to bring them to a successful outcome.
• Working experience in a high-pressure environment competing priorities and tight turnaround times.

Technical Proficiency

• 10 years of experience in power management and analog product space preferably in Product Engineering with semiconductor companies.
• Familiarity with ATE tester platforms (eg. Teradyne J750 iFlex Advantest 93K Eagle cohu)
• Knowledge of analog and mix-signal circuitry and the common building blocks device physics test methodology and DFT knowledge
• Ability to managing supplier excursions and customer escalations through problem solving
• Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and stress test conditions.
• Knowledge of back-end semiconductor processes like wafer fabrication Bump Packaging and Assembly
• Other preferred but not required qualifications
• Experience with qual hardware/software development
• Experience with common lab test equipment (DC power supply oscilloscope multi-meters etc). Bench characterization experience
• Experience in yield management tools (Apply statistical analysis to isolate the issue and make data-driven decisions) such as PDF Exensio JMP
• Knowledge of Semiconductor Failure Analysis
• Understanding of digital chips is a distinct advantage
• 3 years of hands-on technical program/project management experience leading cross functional teams to develop broad market or custom mix-signal analog semiconductor products for commercial industrial or automotive applications.
• In depth understanding of new product introduction and product development flow from concept to production release.
• Exposure to AECQ / IATF /ISO26262 and APQP automotive process
• PMP certification is not a requirement but will be plus
• Proficient with industry standard project management tools such as MS Project Jira SharePoint FMEA Root Cause Analysis Confluence Microsoft OneNote
