  • Clarendon Clinic - East Melbourne location

About the Role

Centrally located and close to multiple public transport routes. A great opportunity to increase your skills in a senior capacity. You will provide a high standard of clinical assessment treatment and support to clients of the St. Vincents integrated adult MHS and their carers demonstrating excellence in discipline specific and recovery-focused case management skills.

You will join a dynamic community mental health team operating under a recovery-oriented model of care utilising the Strengths Model of Case Management.

  • Work within the Strengths Model of recovery orientated practice providing supervision and leadership to staff
  • Work one to one and build a therapeutic alliance with the consumer and family/carers actively engaging them in the planning delivery and evaluation of their care
  • Undertake the assessment provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health related needs and their family/carers


Classifications for this position will range from RPN Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($112465 - $121113 per annum pro rata)

Your Contribution

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification clinical experience for Nursing
  • Community experience is desirable
  • Extensive experience in the provision of assessment discipline specific intervention and case management services for consumers experiencing early psychosis as well as providing appropriate support for their carers and families within a recovery framework
  • Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health staff
  • A comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2022 (including amendments) and other relevant legislation
  • Current Victorian drivers license
  • A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain

About the Mental Health Team

The Clarendon Clinic Continuing Care Teams provide ongoing specialist treatment and support to meet the identified needs of clients who suffer with a serious mental illness and associated high level of disability in the City of Yarra. The multidisciplinary team provides a range of clinical and therapeutic interventions using the recovery-focused Strengths Model of Recovery-Oriented Practice.
