Job Summary
Infrastructure Project TAS / VIC
Our client a leading infrastructure contractor is seeking a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor (or Senior Advisor) to support a major energy infrastructure project.
This is a key role responsible for delivering communication strategies and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure strong community relationships and project outcomes.
About the Role
You will support the development and delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement plans across a large-scale infrastructure project working closely with project teams local communities and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of communication and stakeholder engagement plans
Prepare communication materials including newsletters fact sheets media content and reports
Monitor project activities and identify potential community impacts
Attend project meetings to assess stakeholder and community considerations
Manage stakeholder enquiries and complaints ensuring timely resolution
Support engagement with councils communities and project stakeholders
Assist with reporting documentation and stakeholder communication tracking
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in communications public relations or marketing
Minimum 5 years experience in communications or stakeholder engagement roles
Experience within infrastructure construction or major projects preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and sensitive issues
Organised proactive and able to work across multiple project activities
