Senior Test Architect Telco BSSOSS

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Architect with Telecom industry experience based in Sydney this strategic role you will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive testing solutions for large OSS and BSS transformation programs to ensure the quality and reliability of the solutions. You will combine technical expertise with visionary leadership to drive testing excellence across our organization and mentor high-performing teams.

• Design and architect scalable test frameworks and strategies aligned with telecommunications industry standards and organizational objectives
• Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end testing solutions for BSS and OSS systems.
• Experience in Salesforce Amdocs and Netcracker based BSS/OSS applications would be highly desirable.
• Should have exposure of modern testing methodologies tools and usage of AI is a must.
• Oversee test automation initiatives selecting and optimizing tools and platforms to maximize efficiency and coverage
• Manage and mentor a team of test engineers providing technical guidance performance feedback and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development and operations to define testing requirements and quality metrics
• Analyze test results and performance data to identify trends bottlenecks and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain test roadmaps that align with product releases and organizational priorities
• Establish best practices and standards for test case design execution and documentation across the organization
• Evaluate emerging testing technologies and methodologies including automation tools cloud-based platforms and performance testing solutions
• Ensure compliance with telecom protocols standards and regulatory requirements throughout the testing lifecycle
• Drive the integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

Qualifications :

• 8 years of professional experience in telecommunications testing quality assurance or related technical roles
• 5 years in a test architecture or senior technical leadership position
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing test frameworks and automation strategies
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications standards and technologies
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework Selenium TestNG or equivalent)
• Experience with performance and load testing tools and methodologies
• Proven ability to lead mentor and develop technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of Agile and iterative development methodologies
• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Preferred: Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and infrastructure
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI/ML applications in testing and quality assurance
• Preferred: Background in vendor management and third-party integration testing
