You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Contracting Branch of the Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) at PWD South Potomac/Dahlgren Division of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing/overseeing the full range of pre and post award contractual actions required in the procurement of construction and A/E contracts. 2) Support Small and Disadvantaged Business Programs. 3) Provide administrative and technical guidance/advise/mentorship to staff.4) Communicate identify distribute and balance workload and tasks for assigned projects establishing actionable events milestones deadlines and time frames for completion.5) Resolve grievances/employee complaints at the lowest possible level and when necessary refereeing those that cant be resolved to the appropriate party/resource at HRO.. NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume.

A bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.

Current civilian personnel in DoD who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30 2000 are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS (or equivalent) 1102 or before September 30 2000 are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
