Reddit Inc. seeks Engineering Manager in San Francisco CA:

Job Duties: Work cross-functionally collaborate and partner with product design andother engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy and build novel products and features that our users will love. Lead a team of thoughtful fast-moving and motivated engineers. Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows recommend best practices and help mentor engineers on the team to grow their technical expertise. Participate in the full development cycle: design developmenttest experimentation analysis and launch. Review code and design documents giving feedback on product specs and mocks and generally helping out wherever is a culture of technical excellence ensuring the right bets are taken with the highestquality. Be a key driver in the planning development and implementation across Reddits backend service architecture and our various client platforms including native applications (iOS and Android) and Web. Build and operate a high-caliber inclusive team of engineers. Set and enable a culture of metrics led execution with efficient processes and strong levels of transparency. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelors degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Swift; (3) Objective-C; (4) Python; (5) Android; (6) JavaScript; (7) Kotlin; (8) ; (9) HTML; (10) IOS. Any suitable combination of education training and/or experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option.

In addition to base salary this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units and depending on the position offered it may also be eligible to receive a commission.
