THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a RESOURCE MANAGER (TITLE 32) Position Description Number D0977P01 and is part of the IL CFMO National Guard.
As a RESOURCE MANAGER (TITLE 32) GSyou will accomplish management and financial administration of programs under the control of the CFMO.

AREA OF CONSIDERATION: The areas of consideration for this position Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code 709) will be in the following manner and sequence:
Military Grades: Officer/Warrant Officer/Enlisted - May not exceed the rank of Col.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: MUST possess experience education and/or training that demonstrates analytical ability judgment discretion and personal responsibility. Qualifying experience includes skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively efficiently and accurately; applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material; presenting formal briefings or training presentations; and preparing reports and presentation formats using automated systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-12 Level - MUST possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level. Specialized experience includes fundamental working experience with a validated understanding of the principles and concepts of the GS-0501 occupational series. Qualifying experience includes planning programming budgeting and executing financial or resource management programs; allocating and monitoring funds; developing or applying internal controls; analyzing financial or program data to support decision-making; and preparing or reviewing budget submissions financial plans or reports. Experience gained through military service civilian employment or academic coursework may be creditable.
SPECIALIZED SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE: MUST possess specialized experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Qualifying experience includes leading directing assigning and reviewing the work of personnel to accomplish organizational objectives.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community student social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies knowledge and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience including volunteer experience.
