We pursue this mission by offering a gamified fintech and learning ecosystem - with Visa debit cards family checking accounts payment applications enabled by AI-powered infrastructure and embedded with financial literacy. We are built for scale and security using leading technologies and best practices that power tens of thousands of API calls per day (and scaling rapidly!).

Were building a fintech product that supports kids and teens in developing healthy money habits together with their parents. That means designing experiences rooted in learning trust and empowerment without fear pressure or dark patterns. Because our users are families clarity motivation and responsibility are always at the heart of our work.
Youll join us as our second Product Designer working closely with product and engineering from day one. Youll take ownership of meaningful problem spaces help shape product direction and see your decisions come to life in the product.
Youll design experiences across onboarding rewards cards referrals and learning flows. Youll also design for two distinct audiences kids and parents thoughtfully balancing motivation with safety clarity and trust. Theres real opportunity here to grow your scope ownership and depth of product thinking as we build together.
What Youll Work On
As a Product Designer at Modak youll:
Own product areas end to end from understanding the problem to shipping learning and iterating
Take ambiguous real-world problems and turn them into clear testable product solutions
Think in flows and systems not just screens while accounting for edge cases and long-term impact
Work closely with product engineering growth and operations to make informed tradeoffs
Help raise product quality by testing flows and catching issues before they ship
Participate in research through interviews surveys and synthesis of insights
Regularly review user feedback and app reviews to inform design decisions
Explore how AI tools can improve workflows and open up new product possibilities
What Were Looking For
Were looking for a designer who:
Has 3 years of experience designing and shipping real products
Can show clear ownership reasoning and impact in their portfolio
Thinks beyond UI and understands user behavior systems and tradeoffs
Is comfortable making decisions with imperfect information
Can clearly explain design thinking to cross-functional partners
Values close collaboration and thoughtful debate
Is comfortable working in both English and Spanish
