About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join a fast-growing Fintech company focused on empowering Latino immigrants in the U.S. through innovative financial tools.
In this role you will be a key player in building a world-class UX function combining empathy and cultural understanding with design excellence. As a senior member of the team you will balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking. You will conceptualize research and deliver high-quality design solutions while mentoring others and influencing the broader design culture.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of new products and user experiences from discovery to delivery

Validate design decisions through qualitative user research and usability testing to ensure user-centric solutions

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineers Product Managers and Data Analysts to define product strategy

Maintain and scale the design system contributing to documentation and ensuring visual cohesion across the product portfolio

Own the end-to-end design process prioritizing multiple initiatives and presenting work to stakeholders

Shape and influence the Design team culture improving workflows and participating in hiring processes

Balance creative exploration with usability standards pushing boundaries while ensuring business effectiveness
Requirements
Must-Have
-
7 years of experience in consumer product design preferably within the Fintech industry

Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in both Spanish and English with the ability to articulate design thinking in both languages

Advanced Figma skills including component architecture design tokens and collaborative workflows
-
Proven experience leading at least 45 mobile projects end-to-end
-
Proficiency in AI-powered tools (such as v0 Cursor Claude Code or LLMs) to accelerate workflows and prototype functional UI
-
Strong strategic thinking: Ability to connect high-level product vision with pixel-perfect execution

A strong portfolio showcasing problem-solving skills and high-caliber design (link and password required)
Nice-to-Have

Experience designing AI-driven or conversational interfaces

Experience establishing design systems from scratch in startup environments

Strong background in UX Research and Content Strategy
